Question about Latch System (car seat)

Thinking about trading in my tundra and getting back to my ford roots, but, I have one question.

Is there a latch bar in the middle back seat of the SCrew? In my Tundra I can only put the car seat in the right or left seat in the back. I hate it.

Any info is greatly appreciated.

Yes, one behind each headrest and one in the middle.

car seats are only recommended on either side though. The middle one is so you can loop the teather through from the sides so you can tighten it up. The ones directly behind the headrests are too close.

From the manual:

The lower anchors at the center of the second row rear seat are spaced
652 mm (25.7 inches) apart. The standardized spacing for LATCH lower
anchors is 280 mm (11 inches) center to center. A child seat with rigid
LATCH attachments cannot be installed at the center seating position.
LATCH compatible child seats (with attachments on belt webbing) can
only be used at this seating position provided that the child seat
manufacturer’s instructions permit use with the anchor spacing stated.
Do not attach a child seat to any lower anchor if an adjacent child seat is
attached to that anchor.

I prefer using the shoulder strap over the latch system, it just seams to fit better. The center seat has a shoulder strap so when the kids are in boosters it is better. I did have to remove the head rests to fit the seats better. I have one in a booster and one in a car seat and I keep them on the outside because they can't reach to fight, it makes trips quiter. There is plenty of room for an adult to climb in and sit in the middle, way more room than my 08 F350 screw had.

My '04 extended cab has 3 sets of latches across the back. The middle one is the only one I can use with the seat rear facing. Otherwise I'd have to move the front seats pretty far forward. 3 more months and she is eligible to go forward facing. Then is will work in any position.
