Linex skip the sticker

Went with LineX but ask them to skip the sticker. Forgot to ask them not to put the big yellow LineX sticker on my window. Luckily it was easily removed.

Go with LineX skip the sticker.

I bought my F250 used and it had a drop in and I yanked it out. The bed was badly scuffed from it. The paint was completely gone in some areas. I ended up doing it myself with Bed Armor from Duplicolor. It wasn't hard to do, many think it is a spray in and it is holding up fine.

When I bought mine, I considered both then after analyzing the costs and my use, i bought the Ford rubber mat for under $90. Works well for me but your needs may not make it a suitable alternative.

It depends on what you are using it for. The drop-in is better if you are constantly hauling big and heavy items and for sliding in and out. The spray-on is better for occasional lighter hauling or for the look.

What, like the 'it's not rusted under the liner' look?

If you keep it clean that is not an issue. Dents and abrrasions on a spray-on from hauling heavy cargo can also lead to rust. Which one is better just depends on what you are using it for.

I did the same.......bought a FORD rubber Bed Mat for my 2004 (in 2004, had zero issues) for $75.00.
THE advantage of this rubber mat is that nothing will slide around banging up the sides OR damaging the cargo from sliding around.

This is similar to the "DUEL-LINER" which uses a rubber mat and plastic sides...
not a bad idea, but again, it's hundreds of dollars!

I'm sure the LINE-EX is a very good product, particularly for you guys that haul gravel, dirt and other heavy abrasive products, but owning an older model truck, $400.00 doesn't make any sense.....the bed mat protects the bed as well as keeping the cargo stationary.

Which brings me to a good question.......

WHY DO THESE CAR MAKERS GIVE US VEHICLES WITH PRETTY SHINEY PAINT AND CLEARCOAT IN THE BED???????

HELLOOOOO??????? ANYBODY HOME?????

THIS is exactly like the PRESIDENT & CONGRESS ignoring what "we, the people" want! NOBODY LISTENS!
smoke 'em if u gottem!

Thumbs down

And did you notice that for 2011 you can get the spray-in as a factory option... unless you want to go all-out and order a Platinum, then you can't.

What?

That's as stupid as back in 2009 when you ordered a Platinum and it was the only model you couldn't order the remote start from the factory.

Wouldn't it make more sense to put restrictions on the XL/STX/XLT, rather than your top trim offering? C'mon Ford, that's as dumb as pretending you can't figure out how to make Upfitter Switches an option in your F150.
