Hello All,

I just thought I would post that I just bought a brand new Black 2010 F150 XLT 4x2 SuperCrew with the chrome package.

This is quite an upgrade over my 1997 F150 XLT that I traded in.

I was thinking it would be cool if the mirrors had chrome on the top front portion, I guess similar to how the Lariats have chrome on the front of the mirrors. Does anyone know if this can be added? Any Recos?

I'm also open to any other suggestions on what to add to this truck ! I really want to get a bed cover of some sort.

very good looking truck and chrome package really sets of the black paint a lot of people like to put black rims on a black truck imo crome really makes it stand out. i have a white truck with the chrome package and the 20 in. rims.

 

very nice... I want to get that grill to replace the one in my fx4...

 

Ah yes I forgot the mention the black is the Tuxedo black! it is a great color

 

I have seen people talk about the tuxedo black, whats the difference in tuxedo black and regular black? I looked at about 15 black trucks on the lot when i bought my flame blue and all of them were tuxedo black.

 

I guess they call it Tuxedo black because it has the almost sparkle to it just as a tuxedo might. There is a thread about it here http://www.f150forum.com/f38/2010-tuxedo-black-32550/ but I must say that mine doesn't seem to be as sparkly as the 2nd picture in that thread. The sparkle on mine is very subtle.

I like how you parked in the spots reserved for hybrid/alternative fuel vehicles only spaces. Damn green ***** haha.

you need a set of 20" Lariat/FX4 wheels on there! haha and ive got a set for you! looks great, congrats on the truck.
