Speaker wires for 2010 Fx4 Crew?

Speaker wires for 2010 Fx4 Crew?

Anyone know what colors are + (pos) and - (neg) on the front and back speakers on the 2010's?? I've checked everywhere online and cant find ANY info as to whats what.. The colors are different than the 08's which is all I seem to find.. any help anyone??????

LF+ ------------------------------- white
LF- ------------------------------- white/black
RF+ ------------------------------- grey
RF- ------------------------------- grey/black
LR+ ------------------------------- green
LR- ------------------------------- green/black
RR+ ------------------------------- purple
RR- ------------------------------- purple/black


i pulled this from this post on a 2009 install.

we'll teach you how to use that there search button yet lol.

wires

Thanks for finding this for me, (but) the wires on the 2010 (at the speakers) are different that the ones you have listed here for the 2009... Anyone know what the 2010 wires are??

n addition to that.. I'm addin a loc.. And I hears you can easily acces the wires in the kick panels instaed of pullin the dsssh. Anyone know about this? Thanks.

yes i know of 1 person here doing this behind the drivers kick panel.

Thanks for all the help! Everything went smoothly! And the new speakers rock compared to the POS stock ones they put on! thanks again..

I'm curious as to way you needed to know the color of the speaker wires if you are changing the speakers. Once you pull the door panels off and the old speakers you would see the colors then. That's the way I did mine. It really doesn't matter what color they are if you have the wire adapters.

I didnt have the wire adapters, so I cut the factory clips and just hard wired them together.. Didnt want to phase out the speakers so wanted to make sure I had them wired correctly in order to get the best sound!
