Take them off and drive around for a month without them. If you like it better without, then sell them. If you like them better on, put em back on!

I am going to pull them offer tomorrow and give it until the weekend to see how I feel about it...but after looking at the difference it will make looking at the truck from the front and rear corners (side profile) I think it will make a significant improvement without those things sticking out the sides the way that they do. We shall see.

I've taken mine on and off more times than I can count, but I always prefer them off because it looks so much cleaner. The only thing I don't like about having them off is that you can see part of the frame from the side of the truck. Since you have a slight drop, though, I don't think it will be an issue.

By a landslide - LOSE 'em.

If you've lowered enough that you don't need runningboards, lose them. They detract from the clean lines of the truck.

If you need running boards and you don't want to ruin the clean lines, check out this option:

They gotta go! I had a lowered '07 FX2 that I took them off and it looked so much better. You just don't need em on a lowered truck!
