2010 Lift

Do all SCREW 4x4 with a 6.5 ft bed have a two piece drive shafts? Some of the lifts (Rancho for example) say 1 piece drive line only.

Pretty sure they do. Someone else should be able to confirm for you though.

my dealer installed a 6in bds lift on my fx4 6.5 ft bed before i purchased it. Im assuming they did their research and it works fine with it... so far no problems with it, 4k miles

Why would the 2 piece DS make a difference. Seems like you could just drop the carrier bearing to compensate?

Right. But the companies have probably not tested it with the two piece dribe shaft and don't want to take the chance on there being an issue.

You and Wandell are exactly correct. I have spoke with several shops that feel the Rancho will not be a problem with the 2 piece drive shaft. If there is a vibration problem they suggested to drop the carrier bearing with a spacer or drop bracket. This is standard procedure with a F250 and up. Rancho has not tested this and will not say it will work. BDS, Skyjacker, and others offer the drop bracket for the F150 kit so it should not be too hard to get one or build one. Still doing some research but looks promising for the Rancho.

I would like to confirm this with a few other reputable installers, so if you have any names and numbers please PM me or post here. Thanks

So you're saying that the BDS 6 inch lift has the the nessecary brackets and such for the two piece drive lines? The reason I'm asking is I'm about to pull the trigger on one and its going on a 2010 screw FX4 with the 6.5 bed.
