Warped door seal - normal? PICS

Just looking over the truck tonight and I noticed the rubber seal around the rear doors is warped on both sides in the same spot. Is this a normal thing? I haven't had any water leaks or anything.

Take it back before it creates a problem.

Mine was too. It has gotten better over time. I have seen posts on the same issue before. I bet the weatherstripping is folded there when it is shipped over from China.

Mine was same too and no leaks either, but I had the dealer replace for free. Might have been ok later...but didn't want to chance it after the warranty expired.

I have an '09 screw that did the exact same thing in the same place and same door. I had it replaced the last time I took it in for other issues. The new gasket was in perfect condition when installed and I would check it each time I cleaned the truck. Within a month, it was deformed exactly like the 1st one.

Interesting...

There is some sort of reinforcement behind the rubber in that area. You can feel it if you run your finger across the seal. It's like they added some hard foam or something.
