Looking for good Bull bar
Looking for good Bull bar
I'm looking for a good bull bar or even a full cattle guard. I got a 2010 FX4 and would perfer the guard be black. I liked the Westin Ultimate Bull Bar but I don't want to take off the tow hooks in the front. Any sugestions?
-Thanks.

if you check the search engine, the bull bar without removing hooks topic has been brought up several times. so far i havent seen one, other than fabricating it yourself. Iv been looking for one too, so if you get lucky and find one let me know.

Some of these huge bull bars / bumper / brush guards like the "bandit bar" and the "ranch hand" are ridiculous. I can see them mounted on the front of a Semi, but in "my opinion only" I think they destroy the look of a 1/2 ton truck.
If owners of these trucks were trying to push their way through the Brazilian rain forest, ok, but 90% of these trucks will never see anything rougher then a graveled road.
A majority of the bars are being bought and installed for appearance sake only
I prefer something smaller and more simple like the Weston Ultimate the Truck Champ, the Ionic Predator. The Fab Tech Pro runner is a tiny bit big but I still like it.
The smaller profile bars give the truck a little attitude without looking like a cow catcher on the front of a train. Alot of these smaller bars are mainly for looks and lights and were never really meant to do any real pushing or protecting. I understand that, but I can't really see many people here using those huge cow catchers for much of anything either other then looks and lights either.
