I've tried to download the SYNC version check program on 3-different flash drives. Each time SYNC says its not a plane non-protected USB and its not compatible. The directions say not to use U3 flash drives but that’s all they sell around here. What am I doing wrong? What flash drive should I be using?

el cheapo drives for 5 bucks from Wally World work just fine..

ALSO NOTE, most drives can have the U3 removed, visit the website for the drive maker...

I did remove it from one flash and I also tried a micro sd card that I know has no protection. Maybe the truck has the newest update and instead of saying that it just doesn't recognize the file. I got the 4g at Wally's for 12 bucks and go figure it has U3.

When was the last update released?
