Some add ons

I bought the 09 used in November and have slowly been building the truck the way I want it. To date I have tinted the front windows, 12 inch bullet with a 4"tip, class 3 hitch, and SmittyBuilt nerf bars. I will hopefully be getting around to tinting the tails and 3rd brake light this week. Since adding the tip, the sound is much more directed and sounds a little cleaner.

Truck looks good! Are those nerf bars the stainless steel version with a life-time warranty? What exactly are bullets?

Looks good! Hopefully you won't destroy your wheels by re-routing your exhaust in front of the rear tire though. My '97 came stock like that and I had it re-routed behind the rear wheel due a TSB that cited a problem of pitting and discoloration of the rear wheels from the exhaust. Many owners had to have the wheel replaced as a result of this. Keep your eye out for this.

The bullet is a 12" straight through muffler that I replaced the monster stock exhaust with.

I have heard about the pitting from the exhaust. For the most part I clean my truck atleast once a week so I will make sure to watch for it.

Sorry, forgot to answer you.....These are the black powder coat Smittybilt Sure Step...not sure on the Life time waranty part, I have to go back and check that. I got these for a good price from Autoanything. I order these when I ordered my Curt class 3 hitch. They have black and then chrome/stainless for color options

Was the muffler a direct replacement of did you have to change your pipe as well?

too bad you didnt have the factory class III hitch. That one sticks out too much. You should cover it up with a hitch bar step.

Yeah, actually its just clamped on to make sure I like it. When I have it welded it will sit back a little and closer to the body.
