Steering wheel radio control skips channels
Well I tried it and here is what I found when using the steering <> button for radio station control.
If you want to fast forward/reverse through each available channel just hold the button down. The problem is that the station #'s change quickly so if you want to stop on a specific one you need a cat like reflex to release the button right on the station you want.
If you want to just switch to the very next channel it's pretty much impossible because if you hold down the button a fraction to long you'll pass the very next station and if you hold for a brief second and release the button it will either skip to the next preset station or is goes back to channel #1 (when in any of the 3 Sirrus freqencies).
I think I may need to go back to the first plan and preset all the station I can, then just seek through those. The only negative side of that is that there isn't enought preset channels to cover all the genre's of music and comedy and sports and business news.
