Viper 5901 Install Tips?

I am a Lic Heavy Truck Tech and dont have a lot of Auto Experience other than my own 2 Vehicles and been to 12v.com and some other site looking for a diagram for my 09 F-150 Lariat SCREW and really didnt see what I was looking for or the location of the HVAC Module.......I still think real world tips and advice from other owners is still the best.
I want to utilize most features like door lock/unlock AC/Heat on and whatever else i can get Viper to do?

did you email me before? I have some wiring info from Viper for the 09 F150 that I can email you.

I think the HVAC module is below the center dash tray.

I am also a mechanic. I pay people to work install my alarms. There are a ton of modules and wires these days. It is well worth 200 bucks to have it done for me...

Maybe Your Right

Im waiting for my order of Posi-Taps to come in. I found a Remote Start/Alarm Posi kit at posiproducts.com so there will be no wire cutting.

I see there is a Viper Dealer in my area ..so ill take it there.......I got the Viper 5901 for $199 on sale......so $200 isnt so bad after all

I want the 5901 to do it all........A/C & Heater....Heated/Cooled Seats....the works......has anyone out there accomplished this?

thanx

My Viper does "the works" too, but I can't tell you how to accomplish it. It took the installer 8 hours and two trips back to get it completely installed and working perfectly. I think I returned once because the domelight supervision wasn't working.

Locally here in Vancouver they want about $300....said it takes all day..He will add climate/seats everything.. and they are not keen on doing the ole hidden key thing either, they want proper bypass installed..........so another $100 there also
Installer said the hidden key may have issues with 2 coded keys in Ign at the same time...........he has seen problems with that before?

I bought mine at 6th Ave Electronics for $199 but sale is off now........If you go to their website they will price match i think and have free shipping too

You want to use the correct PATS bypass module a PK-ALL now. It is 75 bucks but maintains the PATS security. My installer does the basic install for $200 then adds 50-75 bucks for each extra module you want installed. It sounds fair for al the headache of doing it right.
