NEED HELP 2 questions please...

Hi,

I just got my 2010 Lariat 4x4 back in june and it is the best thing I have bought! this thing is freaking awsome.

I got one question and one problem

First let me start off with the problem.
When the truck sits in my work parking lot and i go out to start it up and leave the transmission feel like it is trying to shift from 1-2 going like 2mph! There is no way this could be normal. it literally lurches and jumps. havent taken it to the dealer figured that the trans was still trying to learn. it has just under 1500 miles on it so i was going to give it time but still nothing.. I have tried backing up and when i go to leave pulling forward and it does this, then i tried pulling forward in the spot and backing up when i leave with the same problems??

The second question i have is is there any way to add the stock Ford Navigation unit. I really dont want to go aftermarket cause i really like the look of the stock and sync. but any suggestions are still helpful.

Thanks in advance.

Can't really help with the trans issue, but I would check with the dealer and see if a re-flash would work. At least let them duplicate the problem - it may be more involved in solving.

Since you didn't get the factory Nav, I would recommend you go aftermarket. There are kits out there that will make the install look factory and you'll probably get more features. And some install kits will allow you to keep the Sync feature. I'm sure someone that has done this already will chime in soon.

Bets of luck!

Factory nav is like $3,000 plus if you buy from a dealer.

So yeah aftermarket or money to burn.

Keep an eye out for used. Ebay and LKQ have them for 7-1200 when they get them.

Odd.
