Question Best deal on this new XLT?

I am considering the XLT below:
http://genelatta.com/New-Inventory/2...XAFC21990.aspx

Any idea what the best deal I can expect would be?

For comparison, a friend of mine purchased a truck identical to the one below:
http://www.hoffmanford.com/harrisbur...65567849-19808

He ended up paying $31,425 after all rebates (trade not included in the price). According to him the dealer started the price based on invoice.

Hope fully I can get the truck I’m interested in for less than the $31,425 price he paid?

Thank you!

You should be able to easily get $9-10k (not including TTL) off, and considering how late it is in the MY and how many places are eager to move XLTs, you have a chance for $11k off.

If you can get them to sell for $9K less than sticker on an XLT, you are getting into their holdback money. When I ordered my truck last August, the truck stickered for $38,840. Using X-Plan and the incentives available at the time, my cost ended up being $30,503 and this was with the 5.4, Sync, and power rear window over and above what is on the referenced truck.

I'd love to be able to get that much of a discount. The best deals I have seen in this area are invoice price minus all rebates. F150s are selling well in my area.

Rebates and prices should get cheaper as the model year ends. I am looking at an invoice on a similar truck. XLT4wd screw MSRP 38055, invoice 34,968, Xplan 35,103. 1113 in holdback money. I usually split the holdback with the dealer or give them 500 of it...

There was a 1,000 XLT pkg dealer bonus cash in March. Look for that cash. I think 4,500 is about max rebates

My truck stickered for just over 38K and with the X-plan and rebates I was able to get it for a little over 29K.

Hope this helps.

It would be great if someone would post actual paperwork showing a 9 - 10K off deal. The only 9K off or slightly better deals I've seen are on maxed out Platinums. Locally (NH) dealers are at best 7500 off MSRP on a XLT.

Here is an XLT invoice.

holdback and invoice x plan pricing.

Sticker is 38,055 after 1k off for chrome and tow plan.
invoice is 34,968
that is 3,087 off sticker
plus 5,500 in rebates= 8,087 off sticker. Split the holdback with the dealer and you are @ 8,600 off. So it is real close to 9k off an XLT. Finance through Ford for another 1k off and you are at 9,600 off sticker...
Other discounts are 750 private offer
500 police/military
500 AQHA memberetc....

Talking Got almost $11k off on an XLT Memorial Day

Hey all,
I can get a scan of the paperwork, I just don't have it handy. But I got $10,792 off MSRP on my new truck.
Here is how it broke down: MSRP 40,310 (after 1,000 Chrome SYNC n tow disc on sticker). Minus $4500 rebates (that Ford still has now). Minus $500 (Memorial Day Bonus cash). Minus $750 off voucher for requesting a brochure (luck . Equals $5750 off in "coupons". The rest was what the dealer took off $5042.
Best part, No Haggling. I tried to get a local dealer to approximate this deal and they could only do~$8500 off. So I drove 5 hours to MD to pick it up.
Loving the truck .

2010 Black XLT 4x4 CC, 6.5' bed, Chrome pkg.

Did this just change? It was $4,500 (in my area) as of Wednesday. $1,000 of that is if you use Ford Credit.

Three people at my job have either purchased new F-150s or are about to take delivery. None of them were able to dig into the dealers’ holdback. It is possible that they were given slightly more for their trade to hide this fact.

So does anyone know why the XLTs have better incentives than the other models?

between the rebates and my x-plan I was quoted 9k off of an XLT.
