New Guy here with a new truck-- with pics

Hey guys-- new to the forum-- new to Ford--

I just bought a new 2009 SuperCrew XLT 5.4. Since the new body style came out I've wanted one. I was waiting for the diesel to come out in the F150 but my Jeep was getting long in the tooth and my wife found us a great deal on this truck.

We pull a 20' 5500lbs (wet) Jayco TT

I'm looking forward to having this truck for a long long time.

We made our first trip out this past week. We towed our 20' JayFlight to San Onofre for the week. The trip was about 90 miles and most of it is up some crazy hills (down the 15 over to the 78). It worked great pulled real nice. It's a perfect rig for what we have. I towed it with a full load of water and the gauges didn't even move a bit (with the Jeep I couldn't tow with water). To tell the truth at one point I was going 75 up a steep hill and my wife had to remind me we had our trailer.
I'm not exaggerating any of this nor my love for this truck now!

The Gas mileage was between 9.8 and 12 miles per gallon.
