New Grille

Anyone installed a different grille on their truck and if so which one? Any billet grilles? How hard was the install, I was looking at the stock grille and couldnt figure out how to get just the black grille part out.

I have seen a few billet grilles on here. I'm hoping Hella will make a grill with the lights built in like for the previous models.

i'm not positive, but it looks like you can remove the stock grille by just unbolting it

Part of the grille unbolts and the top has clips that have to be carefully removed. Go to the Carriage Works site and download the instructions for a full billet grill install for a 2010. Not a hard install, you will be cutting out the factory center section.

One of the nicest ones I have seen is the Street Scene, but there appear to be a handful of different ones out there.

Thanks for the advice and help so far this is helpful. The carriage works all seem to be bolt over (which is convenient) i just like that billet style better I think. I dont want to have to cut out the factory one but at the same time If I knew I wouldnt mess anything up I would go for it right away.

Look at Carriage Works 44662 Polished cut out replacement grille. Install time is 1 to 1.5 hours. There are instructions or they will email them to you. Good looking grille.

I'm in the same situation, looking for a good replacement grille for my 2010 FX2.
Came across this one on eBay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

It's the same as the stock except it's chrome, looks pretty nice and it's OEM. No cutting, just pull out the original and replace it with this one.
