By far not the best cover but I like it. I got the TekStyle Roll-up for $180.00 on ebay

+1.

The Access Lorado was easy to install, and it's very effective. The week after I put it on there were some violent thundertorms/tornado's that ripped through town. I was out driving during some of this. It rained so hard that I could only drive about 10 MPH...the wind was ferocious.

After I pulled the truck into the garage I had to open the tailgate to see how much water got in. It was virtually nothing...a few drips...dang near the entire bed was bone dry.

I took it on a trip last month and had luggage for the whole family secure and dry for the duration.

When you need the bed you just roll it up and clip it. Nothing could be easier or more effective. I got the low profile one.

Someone on the forum gave me the name of Truck Alterations and they were the cheapest by far at the time.

Best of luck.

I would caution anyone from getting a BakFlip

I had problems with leaks (not minor leaks either, it was inches of standing water in the bed). After 6 months, they finally authorized a return of the product. Then they attempted to charge me $88 for damages (it was in perfect condition) and finally tried to charge me a 20% restocking fee.

If the product works for you, you'll find yourself a happy customer. If it doesn't, you'll be told that your expectations are too high.

Buyer Beware

Like everything thats mass produced, theres bound to be a few that are messed up. We have had over 8 inches of rain this month, and my bed was dry

I would recommend the retrax, it doesn't leak and it's retractable. The only downside to it is that it takes about 8-10" of the rear bed space.

Here's my backflip f1 folded up against the cab. mine leaked a tad around the tailgate, put a tailgate seal on it, now its pretty dry all the time. Only problem ive had was getting it to clamp down with my bedrug (Didnt seem to want to clamp like it should). I called backflip and they sent me more clamps and more seals for free. Also noticed some rough metal edges that didnt get filed down at the factory...but those were pretty minor issues. Ive had it almost 8 months and love it. Helped a friend move the other day and just folded up the cover in seconds and had access to all of the bed.

my budy with his cheby, also got one, he got the g2 though. I helped him install it with no problems...he needs a tailgate seal though.

I have Undercovers on both my F-150's, an 04 XLT SCrew(Dark Shadow Grey) and an 09 Lariat SCrew 4X4 (White Sand Tri-color metallic). They come only in black but can be painted. I prefer just to leave them black, since we have so much black trim on our trucks. Mine do a pretty good job of keeping everything dry, but they do get dusty when used on dirt roads.

The newest one cost about $600 and the 04 cost about $425. Google Undercover to see all their products. I have one swing out tool box on my 2009.

Actually i did have to pull him out here...But thats because we were messing around in 2wd burying the rear tires. i buried mine too, but when i put it in 4hi i got out...he didnt.

Heres a pic of mine buried.

and another of his after he buried his front trying to get out in 4hi.

I got a pretty funny video of this when he was trying to get out and had his driver window down and he threw sand all in his window and face.

Here's a write up I did on the Bakflip G2 that I installed on my 2010 Lariat 4x4. Lots of pictures and a video if it helps.

Good luck in whatever you decide!
