10 years later and another Supercrew!

Having bought a 2001 Supercrew back when they first came out in April of 2000, I've finally upgraded to a new one after looking around for months.
Although I wasn't planning to get it all the options, I ended up getting it fully loaded because of the price and current incentives. I went with a white FX4 after spending weeks deciding on a color. Although I like Sterling Grey wheel lip moulding color, I was surprised that my truck had black which I perferred anyway.
After walking into the local dealership with internet quotes from around the state, I was able to get the fully loaded truck (minus running boards) for $41,000. With the $4,500 incentive and $750. customer cash coupon I ended up getting the truck for $35,750 before tax and license. I was also able to get them to throw in black tubular running boards that I thought would go better with the white and black paint scheme.

Now to sell my old one!

Can't wait to see the picks sounds like exactly what I am looking at. I will get either tuxedo black or white. I'm thinking that I will pick up the truck around January. Did you special order the truck or was this one on the lot?

I almost went with the black but at the last minute went the safe route and kept with white. No dealerships in Northern California had the truck with options that I wanted so I was prepared to fly down to LA and buy one there but at the last minute my local dealership got one in fully loaded and matched the price of the lesser built truck I was planning to buy. I thought about just factory ordering it but I was afraid the incentives and Ford customer cash would expire before it arrived.

I too went from a 2001 SCREW Lariat to a 2010. I was stunned at the difference in the interior between the two. In terms of the interior fit and finish it was like going from the stone age to the modern era.

The 2010 is a seriously nice truck.

It's too bad that they couldn't do much with the fuel efficiency and power over that 10 years though.

I love my new fx4, but loved my 01 just as much, I just really wanted a 4x4!
