Although I really wanted the 23" Saleen wheels in chrome, $1200 for these bad boys with tires shipped isn't so bad either! Maybe eventually I'll still get the saleen wheels though.

Looks great.

I find the chrome of the platinum is tasteful and looks good.

On the other hand not a fan of the guy that orders every single piece of cheap chrome cr@p from an online catalog in an effort to out do the Platinum. Chrome B pillrars etc... There is a difference. However you own it, you do what you want. "its your truck".

I already love the black Platinum but looking at yours makes me want a two-wheel drive! Really nice truck, one of my favorites!

What I think is that is a fine lookin' truck.
Lose the Flex Fuel badge and the Platinum Pimp Panel on the tailgate and it would be a dynamite lookin' truck.

I investigated removing the Platinum pimp panel, but there is no cheap easy solution. So I just park my truck at the Classic Diner where "chrome is at home".

Yes, you have I.D.'d the Denny's Classic Diner. But they all go well with the Platinum Pimp Panel.

Sometimes my biker buddies and I meet at this Classic Diner for breakfast before going for a ride. Maybe you've heard us ride by.

You know what I kinda got use to the "Pimp Panel", it really doesn't bother me anymore. Is the flex fuel badge just stuck on with double sided tape...If so what the best method to use to remove it?

Yes, the Flex Fuel badge is just a stick on. Double sided sponge tape under the metal emblem. I used a heat gun to remove mine. Others have reported that a hair dryer will get it hot enough to soften the glue.

I have a heat gun but it hasn't been used since being in the army about 5 years ago, that was the quickest way to get those boots shined. Hopefully it still works though.... Is there any special technique when using it?
