What Can I Program?

I will be bringing my 2010 F150 into a dealer to activate my integrated brake controller and turn on my daytime running lights.

Are there other things that can be programmed once we are plugged in? Not even sure what to ask about.

Thanks

Mitch

If you plan on running abit more air in your tires. or want to provide a wider gap on when the TPMS kicks in they can change that.

The DTRL you know about, which i believe it a good thing to do. Just dont do it if you have any type of HID driving lights installed as it will not last long. In my 09 i know the DTRL are turned on when the vehicle is in any position other than park.
( i dont have HID kit instaled. nor is it worth it in my opinion)

if you are getting different rims and or tires, they can adjust for that.

normal stuff. but there are some things like the seatbelt donger, key donger they can disable.. if you want that done.

Im sure they could just look through the menus.. thats what my tech and i did.
good luck.

If you changed the tire circumference, you could get it updated.

Is your tranny shifting okay? If not, you may to have the TCM re-flashed.

A partial list of TSBs is here: http://www.ford-trucks.com/tsb/fullt...y=2010&m=F-150

and here (some may apply to the 2010s too): http://www.ford-trucks.com/tsb/fullt...y=2009&m=F-150
