fx4 question

I'm fixing to buy a fully loaded FX4 but i need yalls help first.
I live in Texas where it its almost 100F all the freaking time. Now the fx4 doesn't come with cooled seats, but how hard would it be to add it/swap out the heated to cooled if thats even possible..? another question i got for you guys is has anyone learned how to add the platinum/KR power folding mirrors, or if there is any way to get the tow mirrors that fold? last question is should i go ahead and get a 2010 or wait till 2011 to see what is available engine/feature. i currently have a 2004 f150 xlt Scab NBS and the 4.6 it has in it is just fine for me with it 240hp or so.
Thanks in advance,

Well adding the cooled seats would be relatively easy but quite expensive. I looked into and it was about $600 just for one lariat seat cover. So you add
switches and plumbing or whatever and you're easily at $1500 maybe $2000. Power folding tow mirrors don't exist and super
duty ones don't fit. The tow mirrors already fold manually. Adding the power fold mirrors wouldn't be too tough. No reason to wait for 2011 if you don't care about power, although mileage may be better.

^agreed...and if you have a 4.6 now and your happy, then you should be fine...if you want a little more getty up just get the 5.4L. I thought the FX4 came with the 5.4 anyway.

If you want cooled seats that bad i would just get the Lariat 4x4 with the bigger gears.

It's 100 in the sun in south florida and the cooled seats sound nice but I dont even think about it because I love the fx4 ....best truck built.

In Texas as well... yes, it get's hot in the cab, but no worse than anything else.
Cheaper way to cool it off would be to get an remote start.

Probably the best route would be to step up to the Lariat, King Ranch or Platinum with the cooled seats. Some people claim that the cool seats are not all they are made out to be in hot, humid climates as the seats seem to be sort of cool moist feeling to them.

BTW, I live in hot, humid Louisiana with a 09 FX4 with the black interior. Yes, it gets hot from being parked in the sun, but it does not bother me not to have cooled seats
