New to site with FX4 Order

Hi everyone! New to the site, just finished the order on my 2010 F150 FX4 today. Still stationed in Iraq, hopefully back in the states just in time to pick her up and not have to wait too much. Got the black Screw short-bed, luxury package, nav, moonroof, rear view camera, TBC, and 20" rims. Can't wait to get pictures up and start the modding!!! Thanks to everyone here with all their ideas and informative posts that finalized my decision on the F150.

Wow! Sounds like a great truck you ordered. You're gonna LOVE it! I just got an FX4 and enjoy every minute I'm in it. Yours is a bit more loaded up than mine is so you should have extra fun! Here are some pics of my black FX4 Screw (I'm a little bit proud of it):

BTW, thank you for doing what you do.

Wishing you a safe trip home and enjoy your FX4!!!

Ken

Did you order through AAFES? I did too, originally, but they sat on the order for a few weeks before placing it with Ford, so my truck would not have been delivered until the last few days of my leave in January... Ended up using the one I had on order to leverage the dealer to get me a better deal on a truck with more options... Congrats and stay cool. I know it's been a hot one here today...

Actually, I got a much better deal through a dealer in upstate New York. Almost $6k less than what AAFES was willing to do. Definitely working on staying cool, but being 300m off of the Tigris is not helping the situation much, the humidity is awful! I see your home state is WA, I am guessing Lewis. I am from Vancouver, can't wait to take the truck out on the fireroads in the Olympias.

Looks like we have the same taste in options but different in color. I have had several black cars and they were hard to keep clean, but nothing looks better than a clean black vehicle. Good luck over there! Stay safe! and God bless you and the armed forces!
THANK YOU!!!!!

My last duy station was Lewis... I got out about a 1 1/2 years ago and now work for DOD. Yeah, I go hunting all over those mountain fire breaks in the Olympics and the Cascades... Can't wait to get home too... Leaving at the end of June. My wife has a keg of Alaskan Amber on order. Too bad she got into a fight with a cement barrier in a parking lot in MY truck yesterday! It will be fixed by the time I get home, but it hurts nonetheless... Stay cool man- today was a real cooker.
