Can you get the 3 valve with a 4 speed auto, or is it the 6 speed only? Also is the 3 valve better than the 2 valve? This is in a scab 4x4. Also, what size is the gas tank on the 10 trucks. my 07 has a 36 gallon and the dealer said that's available on fleet trucks only now. Thanks ahead of time. Lastly how much better are the 10's over a 07?

 

3V is more efficient and only comes with 6 speed. I'm sure that the 2V will be discontinued ,propably next year as it is obsolete and new engines are coming out.
My '09 reg cab, 6.5' bed has a 26 gal and longer ones have the 36 gal.

 

I know all FX4s come with 36 gallon tanks...

 

They are nice until you have to fill them beyatches up!

I get to half a tank, then fill up - that way it doesn't hurt so bad.....

 

I love being able to go 700 + miles before fill ups on a road trip... I didn't get a truck to get good mileage, though other than my motorcycle, my FX4 gets better mileage than any of my other vehicles. Good mileage is for foreigners and those who don't work! LoL

 

It is my understanding that all the 2010 4x4 trucks have 36 gallon tanks and the 4x2 trucks have 26 gallon tanks.
