2010 Platinum version

I am thinking about trading in the 06' Lariat for this truck.

Is this a good price or not?

Below is the window sticker and the price break down:

MSRP $50610
Your Price 45981
Rebates 4500
Your Cost $41,481 (plust Tax, Tags, and a $389 processing fee)

Not bad. For what it's worth I just ordered my 2010 Screw 4x4 Lariat with 20's, 3.55 lim slip, Nav., Sunroof, Trailer brake control, Tailgate step, & Lariat Plus package...tax, title, & license included for an even $40k.

A 'friend' of mine owns a local dealership and was showing me the new 2011 F-250. Awesome! The diesel engine is so quiet you'd swear it was a gas engine.

They said the new 2011 F-150 is being offered with a brand new dual turbocharged V6 that has over 300hp and gets 25+ mpg (and I was asking about a Screw 4x4). I'm going to wait and see if it'll be worth trading my '09 in on one :-) Should be available by Oct.

Packey Webb Ford in Illionois. I used a car buying service offered by my Bank. If you are or ever have been Active Duty USAA is the best bank out there.. They made the price and that is what I offered the dealership. I am very happy with my purchase!

Unfortunately, any talk of 25+ MPG is almost certainly Highway MPG, not City.

Given they only start production end of Nov.. I think they're off just a bit.

I got my FX4 about 2,000 less than what USAA was offering, including TTL... Don't get me wrong, I love USAA and have used them for years, but they are still out to make a dime.

Who is out to make a dime? USAA?? They do not get anything? Just help you to get the best deal that you can get... All I know is that I know what some people have paid, and I am super happy with the price I paid.

Why so late? The 2010's started production in the summer 2009. I got my 2010 in Sept 2009. In fact I remember someone saying that sometime in June is the cuttoff for ordering a 2010.
