dianostic mode

When dianostic mode. I clicked to digital speed. I noticed the speed displayed, was like 5mph difference from the gauge speedo. So, what is the actual speed?

I had an ancient piece-of-junk cadillac cimmaron way back like 15-20 years ago, and that thing had a digital speedo. Always thought how strange it was that even all these years later, manufacturers are still using the needle instead of going digital. I liked it. In fact, it may have been the one and only thing I liked about that massive heap of scrap metal.

Never cadillac, never again. UGH. That vehicle sucked beyond all imagining... and then some more.

I believe the number you see is what the sensor see's and then the program changes the readout at the needle depending on you tire or gear selection. I am just guessing.

That's what happens when the bowtie boys get a hold of a Ford company.
