I have a 2010 Fx4 Screw with a 2 inch AS kit in the front and have 295/65R18's Goodyear Dura Tracs.

I told the dealer about the problem and they tried to calibrate the system to the new tire size but they stated that with this tire the closest option was the stock setting so they left it alone.

I have also had the TC kick in the odd time when the vehicle is off level and going down a grade....there is one place in town that this happens every time.

I also just pulled a 20 foot travel trailer 5000 KM and this issues was noticed on several of these "downhill with a slight turn" spots.....

Something that doesn't bother me too much but it would be nice to find a solution without taking everything off or getting a tune.

Forgot to add that I would get the 1.5 or a 2 inch kit with this set up... I am sure that a 2.5 would be nose high even if you changed the grill guard.

The stock Pirelli Scorpion ATV P275/55 R20 111 S M+S tires are equivelant to 32.5" tires so I don't see why 33" tires would be any problem to install. When these stock tires wear out I want to go with BFG 33" x 12.50 A/T tires. Either those or Pro Comps. I ran Pro Comp A/T's on my old '92 F-150 for years but usually had unusual wear issues with then so I want to try the BFG's next. My '09 is basically a 99.5% paved road truck. I use my '87 Blazer for the real dirty off-road work. If I'm wrong about the BFG 33's fitting on stock rims I'd sure like to hear from anyone who has had FIRST HAND experience with them.

I've got 33.2" BFG AT's on stock rims, they fit fine, they aren't quite 12.5 though, they are 275/70/18.

A 275 series is not even 11" wide.

Anyone who want to run OEM 20s will rub with a 305 (12 to 12.5") wide tire. You, in most cases will be fine with a 285 series tire until you get over a 34" tall tire... pretty much anything over 33.5" will start to rub somewhere... again this is with OEM/ stock 20s (44mm offset 8.5" wide wheel)

With the OEM 18s, you have a little more room to play with. 295 is the ideal max width, but you can squeak in a 305series 33" tall (305-65-18). This is because the offset on the 18s is 35mm but with only an 8" wide wheel. So you basically have an extra 1/2 or so clearance between the wheel edge and LCA.

Hope this clears up some of the questions.... Also, a 35" tire (no matter what tire width) on stock rims will rub somewhere.

FX4'er... I really, REALLY wish I went this this tire and tire size on my truck. The Duratracks were not really available or popular when I got my Mickeys, but really wishing I looked at these a little more. Really like the winter rating on the Duratracks; My Mickeys where garbage on ice this winter. Really nice truck BTW!!!

F_ast,

I have a 2" AS leveling kit in my '09 Screw. I was wanting to install BFG A/T's LT305/55R20E ( 33.2" x 12" ) but are you saying then that they will rub even with the 2" spacers? I guess my next choice would have to be their LT285/65R20E tires ( 32.3" x 11.2" ) then? I will be using my stock 20" Platinum rims.

you will rub with 305-55-20s. Maybe not as bad as I do with my MT tires, but it will most likely rub. Here are a few pics of the tolerances with the 305s just to show you how tight everything is in there... And the rub pic is on the sway bar.

This is of my 09 FX4 with OEM 20s from an 07 f150... but they have the same wheel specs as the 09-10s
