New Truck

Well gang, my new 2010 Lariat is built and in transport. I talked to the dealer today and she is on a train coming from Dearborn MI. Right now she is in Ohio and she should be here next week. I plan on taking delivery next Friday or Saturday. I can hardly wait, this will be one of the longest weeks of my life. Of course I will bore you all with pictures when I pick her up and after I bring her home.

Bob

Congrats, but making a post like this is like early ejaculation. FAIL!

Sorry if I offended you, but I've been waiting 5 weeks already and was excited about the news. As far as premature ejaculation goes, I'm sure you'd be more of an expert on this subject than I.

Check the news because I heard there was a big fire in a train marshaling yard somewhere in Ohio.

Here is my first post about the truck.

Hello everyone I'm new to the Forum and just wanted to introduce myself. I have a new 2010 F-150 Lariat Supercab on order that should be here in a couple of weeks. My truck is not real fancy, but I had specific options that I was not willing to do without. I didn't want to just take what they had, I wanted it my way. Being a Lariat it's a 5.4 3V with 6 speed automatic. Since I don't plan on towing anything significant. I just got the standard 3.15 rear hoping for better MPG.

I ordered her Ingot Silver with black leather interior. I picked the Captains Chairs because the 10 way adjustable heated and cooled seats are awesome. I love the fact that the seats automatically move backward after removing the key for entry and exiting. I also like the center console and floor shift.

To complete the interior creature comforts, I added the Lariat Plus package and the Sony Premium Sound System. On the outside I added the 20" machined aluminum wheels to give her a better look and stance. This will be the first new car or truck I have ever owned and needless to say I'm excited.

I work for Caterpillar and I'm buying this truck with the X-Plan. Man what a great deal, it's pretty cut and dried on the price with no haggling. You still also receive all bonus's and incentives. It made this truck such a good deal it was really hard to pass up. All the people at the dealership have been a pleasure to work with too.

This truck will be a daily driver (except for the days I take my Harley) and I'm probably going to leave it pretty much stock after the ARE tonneau cover. Maybe some Cat-backs and an air cooler box later. I have already found much information and insight from this forum. Thanks for the help!!
