2010 Fuel Economy Poll
2010 FX4, Supercrew, 5.5ft bed. I have been averaging between 18-19 my last 2 tanks. I would say that 70% of my driving is done on the freeway between 60-70 mph. On one tank I really tried babying the truck and didnt exceed 60 mph on the freeway. This only resulted in 19.2 for the tank. Truck currently has 8500 miles on it.
Fx4 crew, 5.4 with 3.73s. With the 275/65/20s I was averaging 12.8 mostly city, before the tune and about 14 hwy. With the tune on for about a day it looks like I'm seeing about 13.5 mostly city and not holding back. Got the sct x3 from vmp by the way. When it was totally stock I was getting 15.5 hwy.
2010 FX4, scab, 8500miles. average 14.8(per in dash computer), average has been steadily climbing as I put the miles on her. Started at 13.9. I cant believe how much more I like this FX4 vs my 2004. The 2010 is another step up.

2010 Lariat Screw~16.5 avg. mixed city and highway, 1300 miles. L8 Apex, that 4 cyl. thing sucks. Our 300C has it and I'd rather just turn it off. I don't know how it works in the Chevy's, but with the Hemi, it make the engine hesitate to pass, etc. Turn it off and of course no problem with the 360 ponies!
2010 FX4 SCrew with 5.4L and 6.5 foot bed (refuse to call it long because a long bed is 8 foot, 6.5 foot is a short bed, and 5.5 foot is a trunk
).
I've been getting about 14.8 to 15.2 mpg mixed highway/mostly city using 87 octane regular gasoline (not E85) on my fill-ups (all three of them). Don't really have numbers for exclusively highway or city driving because it's hard to empty a 36 gallon tank without a lot of both. However, seems like I'm getting about what the sticker said I would. I've only had the truck about six weeks though and have about 1800 miles on it.
My most frequent drive is to work and is only eight miles and no highway.

2010 FX4 SCREW 6.5 bed wife says she's down to about 18 combined (70% around town, 30 highway). This is vehicle calculation and she drives pretty easy. about 3,500 miles on the truck now. When she takes it easy on the highway she gets almost 20.
2010 FX4 3.73 5.4 6.5 bed, 11.8-12.4mpg w 20 Stratos w/200 yamaha.
17.3-18.7 hwy @70 mph
16.4- 17 @ 65mph
14.7-15.6 @75 mph
14.9-16.7 cty/hwy
All are both calculated and resetting the Computer each time.
