XLT Console is just a big, dark useless box.

I like it, although I think its funny they put a little piece of outdoor carpet or whatever at the bottom that just slides around then rolls up like like a soft taco. Need to put some double sided tape or something down there.

I would love a console instead of a seat. It looks so much better. Add that to my list of future mods.

I'm gonna add some light and fab up some kind of divider for my flow through console after seeing this thread. I guess I never really thought about how easy it would be to solve these problems that annoy me on a daily basis. lol

Some of you guys must be running out of things to complain about LOL. I like my console just fine. The more I put in it the less stuff rolls around. I only would have liked for the Ford design team to put a top tray in it like the other trucks. I for sure like it better than the jump-seat I took out.

I've got a 2011 Taurus and the capacity of the so called console is laughingly small. You'd never lose anything in it because there's no room.

I had a similar console on my 04 FX4, and now my '11 XLT. I bought a couple of Plano Stowaway tackle boxes to put in there to hold my crap in place, works great.

Would have been nice if Ford provided some sort of divider system in there, but the Stowaways are pretty cheap.

I wish I could get the A/C in the back of my console. Tired of the people in the back bitching haha!
