Need advice on how to paint brake calipers

I am thinking about painting by brake calipers to match my truck. I have never done something like this and was wanting some advice on how to prepare and do the job as well as what type of paint should I use. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Spend some time looking over the Index to the Articles and How To section. Pay special attention to the Appearance section.

Duh I should have known there would be an article. I will have to contact the OP though, the pics aren't showing up. Thanks Bluejay.

I checked and you are correct. Contact Darren and ask him to renew at photobucket or load the pics in an album here.

Done.
I also emailed the site admin on a bad link to the "Mirror Reflectors Converted to Turn Signals".

This is my article, can't have my how to messed up.

Thanks again Bluejay.

Clean the calipers well with simple green or carb cleaner, mask off what you don't want painted. I would use any two part epoxy type kit. I think Dupli color makes caliper paint kits sold at most parts stores today.

I personally used krylon fusion on my calipers and came out amazing. White too. Used about 3-4 coats. Did the fronts now need to attack the rears this weekend!! Good luck op. Remember prep is 75% of the work to make it come out right
