I took months to decide to pull the trigger. Got them, like them and they look great on. Do it!

 

Thinking of getting these but don't know if I need them for the front where my step bar extends almost to the wheel well. Your truck looks alot like mine, did you get rear and front flaps? Would you recommend for the front or rear only?

 

I have the Husky as the Weathertechs were out of stock down here. I have had Husky on the last 4 trucks. I like them.

 

I would recommend both and rear even with the step bars.

The front ones help keep snow, ice, and crap off the steps bars (as well as protect the rocker panels from rock chips).

 

I have them on all 4 wheels and I like them. They stop a lot of the road debris the tires kick up. Sorry, I haven't posted up any pics yet.

 

I have weathertech's all the way around and love them.

 

I ended up getting the Husky mud guards, they were available locally and a really good price.

A bit OT, but after a full winter I've noticed that the black washers around the screws on my Husky mud flaps have started to rust. I always get to a wash quickly after I do any snow/salt driving, so I'm a bit surprised. Not really a big deal because I can cheaply change washers, just thought they wouldn't start rusting so quickly.

Wouldn't stop me from getting these again though. Love the function and look.

 

I expect the same, like you said though, they are cheap to replace.

 

Fastlayne, why no flaps in the front? Would they not fit?

 

^^my Husky screws and washers are all rusty too, only after one winter...

 

Front flaps are about to be installed.

I will likely replace the screws and washers with stainless after winter #1.
