Remind me again, What is front GAWR on 2010+ F150 Max tow? Is it 3,750 or 3,950?

Rear GAWR is 4,050 correct?

Thx

My GAWR is FA 3900 RA is 4050, at the scales mine was 3740# FA and 2900# RA, with 2 people 200# ea. and some tools 80# and a bakflip g2. ?#

10 F150 Screw 4x4 6.5 bed Max tow 7700 GVWR and the sticker in the door says 1764 CCC

I just spent some time at the scales and will be putting 200 miles on this weekend pulling 6600# tt with 800# tongue wt.

Hope I don't miss my 08 F350 to much.

Mine is 4050 front and rear. GVWR at 7700. 2010 F150 FX4 Screw 3.73 Max Tow. Payload only 1425? The skid plates and side box steps are 99 lbs together. May remove them.

Saw a 2011 F150 Lariat Screw 4X4 Ecoboost short box the other day with 1856 Payload. Got the wrong truck I guess.

That extra 400 lbs would be more than I would need. My hitch is rated for 1150lbs. Weighed the truck with full tank of gas and me in it @6300lbs. 7700-6300 = 1400lbs. 1400-1150 max hitch rating = 250 lbs for wife, dog, and possible kids. If I want to tow at my max, i need that extra 400lbs to be perfectly comfortable.

Will pay much more attention to payload details next time. Drove a 2011 F250 CC 4X4 PSD short bed Lariat and noticed the payload was 2086! Barely 200 lbs more than the Lariat the other day. 10K more, rougher ride.

My payload of 1425 is much better than my last screw of 996 lbs. 90% of these Screws are nothing more than SUVs or grocery getters. You have to find those 10% that have large enough payloads to actually pull a 9K+ trailer.

I guess thats what they mean when it says 11,200 max tow WHEN PROPERLY EQUIPPED. Not just towing options. They need a HD payload package in Screws. 8200 GVWR would bump payload by 500lbs - the additional equipment needed. But that would give these trucks 2000-2300 lbs payloads. How about that. A 1 ton, half ton.

Not too far off. My combined GAWR is 8100 lbs. Thanks for reading.

Its interesting that we have the exact same truck, and my sticker says my payload is 1548. I have a 2010 fx4 screw with 6.5ft bed with the max tow. I do have bed steps and obviously skid plates but without the navigation or moonroof, maybe that's where the extra 100lbs come from.

I do wonder what affect my 6in BDS lift, 18in aftermarket rims and 35's have on the payload though.

Moonroof is 34lbs
Nav is 8lbs

Was off a little. My payload is 1422. So that is 126 lbs difference. Have accounted for 42 lbs. Now just need to find the OTHER 84 lbs. This is such a damn headache. Thank you so much for responding, trying to figure out this 6300 lb truck. Need one under 6k for my needs. Have you weighed the truck with just you and full tank of gas? Keep the options coming. Thanks

This all makes me sick. MikeUp layer it all out here before. My 2010 Max Tow Lariat has a payload of 1615, and towing my 5000# TT puts me at payload with an empty bed and my family only in the truck. Granted I have a fiberglass lid, but it only weighs 125#'s. I'm trying to sell myself on an EcoBoost this fall, but I'm sick of not being able to take firewood to my campsite. I've easily blown over the rear axle GAWR by a few hundred pounds, and the GVWR at the same time with a WD hitch properly configured. This is the second F150 I've experienced this with. Maybe the new rating laws of 2012 will put this to rest for all of us.

The Screw 6.5' bed is about 150 pounds more than the 5.5's bed and only 50 pounds higher GVWR with the max tow package, 7700 vs. 7650.

I test drove a 2011 Screw 4x4 EB Lariat 5.5' bed 7650 GVWR with about 1850 pounds of payload.

Very good info. Did some deeper searching. Payload drops from 1960 to 1890 (70lbs) with the 6.5 bed and GVWR goes up 50lbs. Thats 120 lbs there. Thanks APT. I have always been a 6.5 to 8 ft bed kinda guy but what is the point if you can;t put anything in there when your towing. I am going 5.5 next time. Could be tomorrow, got a good trade in value on my truck.

Only thing I need to find is the empty rear axle weight of a 5.5 bed. My 6.5 with bed steps is 2800lbs.

Newest update from what I can find. I ordered a new ecoboost last week of June (due here last week of July or first week of Aug), but they wouldn't sign anything or lock in my trade in amount so I am at freedom to keep looking. The new truck will have a 1800+lb payload.

Now I found this weekend that the Supercrew 6.5ft beds will possibly offer the HD Payload Package. Bochure states 2340lb Payload, minus my options, thats 2100-2200lbs of payload. I guess a one ton, half ton has become reality and the ecoboost the diesel equiv. I def see an F-100 in the next year or so comin out for people that don't tow heavy.

Now I have to decide if I am to wait to order a 2012 soon or take this 2011 that I built just the way I want it. Won't need the extra payload till next spring or summer so I am not pressed for time. Maybe they will make a better offer on the 2011 now, but more payload would always be better I love that Ford is making so many options but it is making it hard to choose. This stuff is wearing me out. This is my last truck for 10 years. Decisions, decisions.

Anyone know the ride difference in the HD 150s or do you think it would be different in an all new Supercrew HD? Thanks for your replys.
