a little bit bigger is alway better

well i got some new rubber for the new truck already, the stock goodyear a/s weren't going to cut it for me

so i got 275 70 18 bfg's, it rides and drives great

also when installing my exhaust i notice that their is a large sensor mounted on the rear brake caliper both side, i know for a fact that my 09 didn't have this

and also with the bigger tires i get the rsc kicks in on fast low speed turns but not on fast harder turns, my dealer said they can fix it with no problems

I did the same thing. The Michelins that came on my XLT were too small, 255/65/70. I replaced them a nice set of Yokohamas, 265/70/17 and wow, what a difference! Sold then Michelins the same week on Craigslist.

That thing isn't a sensor it is some kind of NVH reducer. It is just a weighted rubber mounted damper.

The new rubber looks good IMO. Did you install the cat-back yet? PICS?

BFG's cost me 1.5mpg on my last F150. I had Discount Tire put me back into Michelin AT2's and got my MPG back. Great looks and snow perf, just a high price and heavy tire for economy.

yes i got it on friday, it looks really good with the blue, i will get some pic soon as the weather is a bit nicer

also it was nice that my old kit made for the 04 to 09 fit still fit on the new truck and it is a little louder with the 4.6 than the 5.4

well they are a 10ply tire vs stock p rated tires or 8plys but my cost was still less than 200 a tire
