Amp/Subwoofer Question/Help

I have a 2009 F150 STX Extended Cab. I want to upgrade my factory stereo system and one of the things I want to add is an amp and subwoofer. Does anyone have any suggestions on the subwoofer size/how many subs to get and where to mount the amp and put the subwoofer in an extended cab truck also any suggestions on type of sub box that would fit well. I know there is limited space in an extended cab and I do ride passengers alot so seats will have to go down alot so that is why I am confused on where I could put a subwoofer box and the amp. Does anyone have a set up like this in their extended cab and maybe pics on what the set up looks like. I am ready to buy so any help would be greatly appreciated......Thanks

I will post some pic's of my setup as soon as I can but here is what I went with one 10" JL audio sub mounted under rear bench seat in my own box. My amps are mounted under both driver and passenger seats. I also upgraded the door speakers with JL audio speakers and the overall setup is perfect. In my opinion 10" subs in our truck setup is perfect.

I put a custom box under the rear seats. Under the 60 part of the 60/40 bench is the amp and sub. Under the 40 part of the bench is a cubby hole so my daughter can stash her Nintendo out of sight. Here are a couple pics when I was checking out all the connections (the wires still need to be hidden a little better).

I have a 2010 screw. I have been thinking that by reworking the center console i could get 2 10' subs in the bottom of it while making it look completely stock to most people. Perhaps some Quart separates in the front doors with the tweeters moved up to the top of the door panel near the side window defroster vents. a four channel amp under one seat and a sub amp under the other. Add in some decent rear door speakers and some well placed dynamat and you would have a sweet sounding system with no loss of room.

BTW i competed in the car audio circuit for several years and i believe this would work out well but have not done it yet.
