Sync Problem

Has anyone experienced problems with sync and services? I can make cell phone calls, but try services and message states unable to connect and sometimes it states the person you are calling unable to answer.

Called Ford Sync help and they said there is a problem but unable to state how wide spread.

My and friends 2010 f150's both have the same problem. We are in MA

I assume you went online to syncmyride.com? You have to sign up online before those services work. Just checking.

Sync tsb

There is a SYNC TSB that fixes a wide array of problems.........I had issues with phonebook and staying connected..............

TSB # 09-22-14

I dont have it but I saw a printout at the Stealership and there was a whole host of problems it fixes.............

It a fix you can only get thru Ford.........not at Sync my ride

Im all good now!

OK, just checking like I said. My sync has worked great since I bought my truck almost two months ago. Last week however, Blackberry in their infinite wisdom decided to send me a software update for my phone. Well this royally screwed up the bluetooth connection between sync and my phone. I finally figured it out and have only one issue, which is with my phone and not the sync. My blackberry now decides when it shuts off automatically each night, that when it turns back on in the morning it disables bluetooth. I have to manually enable the bluetooth on my phone before it connects with my sync. For the life of me I cannot find a way to get my phone to not disable the bluetooth when it shuts off. I will probably make a call to blackberry soon if I can't figure it out.

I had that happen to me a couple times when i was on a trip in NC this past weekend. it said to check the number and try again. did it again and it worked fine.

i have also saved the sync services phone # in my phone, and whenever im not in my truck i can still call it and get info, It will even tell you each step for directions without being able to be downloaded to truck.

After several calls and 3 days the problem was fixed by a team of ford engineers. never did find out the cause but may have been something to do with AT& T compatability.
