So you are going to add a 1" block? I think when you take that rake out and get some lift over the front, it makes the whole truck look elevated even though you haven't done anything to the back. Do you have good clearance in the front as far as tires and components and fender wells? How do all your angles look? Thanks and once again, it looks great!

The back sits ever so slightly too low for my tastes, thus the 1". Add anything to the bed, it sags too much (visual thing).

Clearances are good, about an inch to the UCA, no trimming required. No issues at all lock to lock. Obviously the angle is more than stock with the level, but not drastic at all. Kinda why I went with the 2" instead of the 2.5 .

Thanks! I've gotten thumbs-up and nice comments in public already, never happened before. Pretty cool, but hey, I did what I did for me and getting into the Ouachita "Mountains" with a more confidence.

Better brakes are always good for driving in the mountains, like Hwy 7 from Russellville to Harrison, Ark.

Interesting. I feel the same way as you. I think I'll go for the 1 1/2" level just to make sure the nose doesn't go over the tail. Beautiful truck BTW.

Okie, your truck looks amazing. You may have just saved me a lot of heartache. Wife refuses to let me lift my truck and I was sure I had to put 35's on this new truck. But your truck has settled that. Hope you don't mind me copying. I do have a question though. What's the difference in these leveling kits with rear block replacements and a body lift? Also, do you think the 1.5" level would have worked as well?

The levels mentioned all over the board aren't body lifts, suggest you do some reading on them. As mentioned, I went 2" front, 1" rear. I could skip the 1" rear, but I like just a TOUCH of rake.

Thanks for the compliments! Took a long time to get those wheels and tires on it, but it was worth the wait. I could have lifted it, but I like keeping it in the garage in these hot Texas summers and didn't want to regear for 35's. I can tell a difference in giddy up with just the 33 LT's (height and much more weight than stock), it would be much worse and I have 3:73's.

Yeah, sorry I was typing from my phone so I sometimes don't express exactly what I'm asking properly. I'm coming from an old body style (2002), so to level all we did was crank torsion bars. So I'm still new to the leveling kit idea. What I was curious about is, if you're using the kit to level the front and then replacing the rear block or adding to it, what does a body lift do differently? Was just looking for some clarity.

And yeah, I have the FX4 package with the 3.73 now as well and wouldn't want to lose too much power so maybe the 33's are the best fit. I would love to have a garage to park in (also from Texas), but no such luck. We have a camper that takes up half and the wifes Volvo gets the other. My truck only fit when we had absolutely nothing in there. But again, I may be emulating your look and hope you don't mind! Thanks.

How could I possibly claim that to be "my" look? Standard color, standard truck, off the shelf standard wheels and tires... I'm sure there are plenty out there that look just like it. "Copy" away bro.
