New F-150 , Been a LONG TIME
Hey Okie,
That black Mutang looks just like mine! BTW, how did you get away with no front plate in Texas? I just put mine on and it looks like crap. But, I have gotten a ticket before for not having the front plate. $200!

Can't tell ya, just never ran one. I heard/read at one point that Texas will soon get rid of the front plate?
They try every session, but it never passes. I was stopped in my Mustang several times due to the plate (no plate, tinted plate cover, etc). I finally just put a front plate on it. In our Lightning we have never run a front plate and never had any problem. I think that it is because there is no obvious place for it to go so it doesn't look like it is missing. Since the new F150 has a front plate bracket, I went ahead and put on the front plate. IMO, it doesn't really mess up any lines on this truck.
You guys think you didn't get much use outta your Stangs? My wife won't let me drive mine if it looks like it might rain a little... and I line in WA! Paint is pricey. Luckily, I don't have to get rid of it and have a new truck too... Hell, even got to keep the old truck to bomb around in.

Ordered-up the 2" AS lift today, looking forward to leveling that thing out. There's a 4Wheel parts location a couple miles away, just for grins, asked the cost to get it done there.... wait for it.... wait for it....
$640.00

Thanks to the forum and some searching, looks like the cams aren't needed to get it back into spec. Anyway, I'll do the install then take it to the local shop that does alignments for 69.00. Once the front is done, I live with it a while and see if the rear needs to go -up at all. It's already higher than most I see? It was mentioned in this thread as well.
