Anyone have this oil leak?

I haven't even had the truck for a week yet and it is marking the driveway like a Harley, lol...

I was sad to see the stains in my driveway.

I chased it breifly with a flashlight. It looks like it is engine oil from theoil filter adapter where it meets the block. Maybe that gasket is bad. I dropped it off for service tonight. Hopefully I will get it back by the weekend. Gotta love a brand new truck.

Mine hasn't left a spot on the driveway, and I'd be p*ssed if it did!

That is a view of oil pan etc. from the bottom through a hole in the skid plate. The front diff is soaked. You know where your oil filter goes, it is where that piece bolts to the block.

I've got 12,000 miles on my '09 and it does not leak anything. I'd be at the dealer until it was fixed if it did.

Man, that sucks. Just curious, did this happen before or after you towed your TT for the first time?

I don't know when it started. I had the truck 4 days and 750 miles. It was a dealer trade and had 150 miles on it before I bought it. The dealer said it is leaking from the adapter and they have the part ordered...

My truck is as dry as the day I bought it August 09, no leaks. On the other hand my shovelhead has a bad habit of marking its territory.lol

Hmm, mine had 103 miles when I bought it, so I hope I don't have the same issue. It only has 350 miles on it so far. I'll keep an eye out. Good luck with the issue.

Sucks about the truck and as for the driveway get some clay cat litter and pour a bunch on the stains then smash it around with a shovel. Should clean it up nicely.

I just picked the truck up. The tech said the oil cooler adapter that bolts to the block was not machined properly. Fluke deal I guess...

I've owned a few Harley's, not one of them has ever leaked.
