THat orange reflector in the headlight drives me nuts, has anyone experimented with removing it. I used to have an audi and I drilled holes in teh headlights and removed the amber, and my buddy who had a subaru baked his headlights which allowed him to pull it apart and then remove the amber part. Anyone try to get it out of there?

 

Tinting over the reflector area has crossed my mind more than once.

Guys have taken apart the 04-08 headlights to modify them, I haven't seen anything about the new headlights though. Personally, I'd rather have the reflector than compromise the factory seal, but that's me.

 

thats true. I dont know, i might experiment with it one day. I just feel like the amber reflector is always staring at me. maybe I will take it out and use the spray tint and at least make it dark like you are saying. I think it would look a lot better on my truck that way. (that charcoal grey color)
