Changed grill. 2010 FX4 to 09 Lariat

Silver Ingot, Screw, Lux package, 6.5, 5.4L, 3.73

I like this more than the original Black FX4 grill.

Thanks. Do not know if I want to sell the FX4 grill yet. I just read someone else's grill was nailed by ice this winter and I may just keep it as a backup. I will let you know.

Was it a difficult job? How long did it take and how much did it cost?

I might do that to my 2010 Lariat. I really don't like the chrome grill...flat black is more to my liking.

Hold onto that FX4 grille. You may change your mind and want to change it back after a few months. The FX4 always looks better with the least amount of chrome in my opinion.

I like the FX4 grill a lot better, but then I always like the FX4 styling better. The only thing that screams "old man" more than the Lariat is the Platinum.

Well, you took the first step, time to go all out with your chrome-o-rama!

Bumpers
Wheels
Mirror caps
Door handles
Window pillars (B-pillars, the black pieces between the doors)

I'd say go with at least 3 out of 5 of these. Or put the FX4 grille back on...

I just wanted a little more with the chrome side steps. I got it for 200 shipped. Called 5 dealers after I took all the nuts off and it still would not move. NOT one knew there were clips on the top, even talked to the guys in the body shop. I knew there were clips but thought maybe they knew of an easier way. Anyway, I looked at it, tilted it from the bottom up and then put my fingers behind the little bit of space on the top sides and pulled and they just popped out, None broken. The only mod I will do now it tint the fronts. That will be about it. trying to sell my house at Smith mt. lake, went down from 429k to 289k! If not I have to try and save like heck to keep it as a summer home.

If anyone is interested. I am still keeping the FX4 grill. just in case I ever decide to change the chrome steps but I doubt it. Thanks for the comments guys, either way. + or - , your opinions are all taken. thanks.
