He said it was a 2010 Lariat Screw 4x4. That would only come with the 5.4L.

what are y'all doing with a bow and a boat? Bow fishing, or using the boat to get to your deer stand?

Nice group of ducks too. If I'm lucky I'll have a pic or two of a turkey in the bed of mine in the next few weeks.

a lot of great posts here..........I could chime in and write for hours on what you should buy and why.
Bottom line is, you need to look both trucks over thoroughly and give them both a true thorough test drive. Do your research and make sure you compare apples to apples!
I have seen many people say that a hemi is way faster than a 5.4......but those same people compared a 5.4 with a 3.55 gear ratio to a hemi with a 3.92 gear ratio (not fair) or a dodge quad cab to a Ford crew cab (also not fair).
Make sure you compare apples to apples.
I think the Ford is the best built truck on the road (and has been for several years).....but it is still your decision on what you want to buy. You can get good trucks and bad trucks from all manufacturers......none are perfect. It's been my experience that the Ford are less problematic and offer the best "complete package"...........that is my reason for buying and continuing to own one.
I have managed a company fleet of 65 trucks for 14 years.......we have tried all brands over the years. All of the trucks in our fleet now are FORDS........there is a reason for that
.......oops - I see you went with the Ford.......good call
guess I shouldn't have read 3 pages and then skipped to page 5 to post a reply!

My buddies and I hunt Turkeys (hence the bow) on washouts along the Sacramento River. Our best spots are boat access only, nobody else knows about them. Loaded with Turkeys. I hope to nab a couple Toms in the next 2 weeks as well!
