I had some stereo work done yesterday and now my Sync is acting up today. I had an Audiocontrol line out converter installed along with a couple of amps. When I push the sync voice button on the steering wheel the system works, but I dont hear any of the voice prompts. I tried resetting sync and pulling the fuse and battery cable but no luck. Any ideas?

 

Sounds like the amps are not turning out to play the Sync voice commands. The Sync may not have enough power to turn on the Audio control unit and/or amps depending how they are wired up. You will need to turn on the Audio control and Amps with a hardwire external remote power on lead. Anything that turns on with the ignition and best that stays on during delayed off accessory mode (i.e., radio power).
