the stock speakers are holding their own with the new setup? no issues with sync? and i guess the most important, how much did this all run you?

I still had the bass drop after I removed the Sony sub. The sub has an amp, and another amp is under the console. I don't think the bass drop comes from the amp - I say it's from the head unit - but I'm not an expert.
