Got my HD tails yesterday...

Got my HD tails yesterday...

One is ok

The other is chipped in the corner. I did NOT find the piece in the bag they put the tail lights in. It must have been shipped broken. So I get on TASCA website and see this

Damaged Items: The carrier is responsible for all items damaged during shipping. You will need to fill out a damaged claim report from the carrier to be reimbursed. Please do not return these items to us as we are not responsible for the reimbursement.

Do I call them up and say it was shipped broken because I couldn't find the other piece or go to UPS and fill out the claim report and probably never hear anything about it.

If the box was not crunched and you couldn't find the chipped off piece in the bag or the box then I would get on the phone with someone at Tasca and set up an RMA for the broken light. Explain the deal and that the box showed no damage. I doubt you will get anywhere with UPS since you have to pretty much prove it was their fault with some physical evidence.

Let us know how Tasca deals with this-I am about to order the HD grille and this makes me a little nervous.

You can call them but also send an e-mail so you have it in writing.

I'll probably call either tomorrow or friday Tool and update.

But they do look damn good on a black truck, probably better if mine wasn't so dirty. Got this Organic exam tomorrow so everything is on hold till after that.

Hope you get it all worked out. Tasca should be good about it, I'd think. You didn't take them out of any plastic yet, have you? If not, take pics and send them on to Tasca.

Good luck on the orgo! I finished my Ph.D. up in organic a couple years ago. Fun stuff!

this is exactly why i payed a little bit more by going with my aunt threw her dealership rather than tasca, i wanted to have an inside source if shipping didn't go according to plan, then i'd have someone to b*tch at...good luck, i hope everything works out for you!

Took pictures of the box and the tail light. Sent them an email through the website. I had no time to call them this week and the phones are only open Mon-Fri.

So I will probably hear something from them on Monday I hope.

Thats too bad, hope it works out for you. I have my truck on order and the same HD tails should be here from that company in a few days.

I too will be puting them on a black Fx4 Screw. Good luck!

Finally got around to calling them today.

Sent me a UPS return label and shipped the replacement out today (or so they say).

UPS 2nd day air for my replacement.

Definitely recommend TASCA.
