Need a new Grille

I was on a road trip yesterday and it was snowing and sloppy and while passing two semi's (I was already struggling to keep my eyes on the road with all the spray) when a big sheet of snow/ice came off of one of the trucks and hit my front end with a slight thud... I thought most of it hit my windshield but when I stopped an hour later for gas the grilled was gone except for some parts that had wedged into the a/c condenser.

Anyway I need a new Grille insert and looking for different options of my 09 FX4 SCREW. Problem is it can't cost more than the stock replacement.

Any ideas (In black only, no chrome)? Thanks,

This is the grille (black, paint to match) I ordered through Tasca back in October: "9L3Z8200-BPTM this is the paint to match version 210.72+shipping"

That quote is from Tasca back then...not sure if the price changed since then.

If you have comprehensive insurance, let them cover it.

I'm always leery about filing claims that are right around the deductible because they don't need much of an excuse to raise rates

Brain,

Did you have it painted here and how much did that run you?... Did they paint the Grille too and not just the surround?

It was about $300 shipped with the painting. They painted it there...and only the surround.

Here is a Carriage Works billet grille, it comes in black but I decided to go brushed and paint it black when I paint the grey on the bottom black along with the bumpers, since it is relatively the same color.

Even if it cost a little extra to have the FX-2 surround painted to match the body, I like the look of the FX-2 grilles...I would like to add one to my XLT, if I could sneak it past the wife.

go with the fx2 and paint, the HD is not worth the $ IMO, and they look virtually the same i think....

Thanks for the help....

I do like the FX2 Grille much better. Can anyone find a part number on it?
I've looked on a few Ford part websites but can't make heads or tails of which on it is....

They also will need to replace the a/c condenser and transmission oil cooler
They also discovered a couple stone chips in my windshield so they'll be replacing that too.

With all that damage and parts to replace, you should probably claim it on insurance. Unless you got piles of cash laying about. lol
