Funny

This is pretty funny. The problem as we explained to you was your upper ball joints, not the lift kit install. I am not going to warranty tires that you drove on for 6 months and 2500 miles with bad ball joints. It is funny that we have installed hundreds of BDS, RCD, CST lift kits on F-150's and never had a problem. It is funny that I have thousands of very happy customers that will tell you I stand behind my warranty. I am sure that performance is your buddy and all that, but the day that performance can out install me is the day I need to find a new job, seeing that I have to repair their work on a weekly basis.lol Oh, and by the way I was not the company that aligned your front end Tire Sales and Service aligned it and told you that you needed new upper ball joints. So to others that read this you always have that guy and this is him. If you would like to talk about this more please feel free to stop by. Thanks Keith Wilson owner Wilson Off Road

BDS 6" Lift, 20x9 XD Addict Wheels, 35x12.5R20 Nitto Trail Grapplers

Lift $2100
Wheels $800
Tires $1240
Install $850
Mounting/Balance $100
Alignment $100

The truck handles very similar to the way it did before. No excessive body lean or a bouncy ride. The Roll Stability Control, however, is a bit annoying. When turning, if there is even a slight bump at speed, the RSC reacts, applying the brakes. Hopefully a tuner can solve this problem.

*On a side note*

I 100% DO NOT recommend Wilson Offroad. They really screwed up my alignment after the install. It wore down my two front tires horribly after just 2500 miles. When I took it back to Wilson to have them replaced they refused. The guarantee they say they have is BS. The exact words from the owner, "All of Division is deployed...I don't have $600 to replace your tires. Just take me to court!"

Check out Performance Off Road on Reilly.

Really

You evidently have know idea what you are talking about or you would have installed your kit yourself. I know it is easy to talk crap on your computer but you can come talk to me in person. I don't work for free, and I run a business that requires I pay taxes and insurance so I am sure that I cost a little more than your buddy working out of his back yard. I have over 4000 happy customers in the 6 years I have been in business so evidently I am doing something right. Just because this guy can't listen I am an idiot, sounds about right. Please feel free to come by and meet me in person before you start running your mouth, idiot.

do you really think talking crap on a forum is a good way to represent your shop? you've had 4000 happy customers and probably another 4000 you don't want to talk about with this attitude.

I think before most would have dismissed the original post about your shop, but now when they google and find this they are going to find another shop to deal with

Wrong again

I am talking about all of my customers. I am going to defend my shop everytime. I am going to tell the truth everytime. I am going to get an attitude when you call me an idiot everytime. If people do see this and I don't defend myself it looks as if I am guilty of something that I am not. What would you do, have someone call you an idiot that has no idea who you are, and just suck it up. I am done with this, I did a good job for that guy, I did it at a fair price, and if he would have listened to me this would have never been a problem. As for you, calling someone you have never met an idiot just kinda shows your stupidity.

You have the ability to go back and edit your posts wilsonoffroad. While I think its good you are defending your business and JC Delt OX was probably at fault for the front tires wearing down because he didnt fix the balljoints (those probably should have been changed during the lift kit install though) I think the way in which you are coming across to the members of this forum, as well as any future customer who may come across this thread is very negative. I don't know you, or your company, but soley based on your "representation" of your company I would probably look elsewhere.

18 months

I understand that this has been here awhile. I was not aware of it until the other day. I care enough about my work to take it personal when someone doesn't tell the truth about what really happened. If I didn't care I wouldn't have said something 18 months later. I have people that work for me and have families to feed. I understand that some may look over what was said. Then there are others that will take what was said as truth, I am only giving my side so they can make an educated decission. As far as being called an idiot, that was not nice and it was uncalled for. The sad part is the post came from my compition, and for defending myself I look like the bad guy.

Good to find out what shops are charging for the install. Last I checked on prices was over a year ago and $800-$1k was the going rate. If anyone is close to my area I have started installing them on the side. I'm doing it for nearly half the price and can do it in a day if no issues pop up compared to most shops taking a few days to a week.
