watch geting snow in your fog lights

well with the past few snow storms with total snow over 3ft, and driving though deep snow. the fog light became packed with snow

so after digging the snow out a few days later. i notice i lost a bulb and the glass of the bulb broke inside the light housing.

so i had to remove the fog light assy off the bumper, take in in side to clean the glass out and dry it out

then i notices that the light housing has a vent at the top just over the bulb, so a little bit of melded snow made its way in

also on a side note the 9140 bulb isn't to easy to find the dealer and napa are the only ones i found to carry them

Yup i noticed that vent as well. with my girlie pirellis on the truck. i dont trust it to drive in anything over 1/4 inch!!.

you can run a 9145. i dont believe them to be much brighter, or run that much hotter than the 9140's. i installed slyvania ultras when i bought my truck.
