2009 f150....please help!

All,

I have a 2009 F150 XLT Supercrew 4x4. Shorlty after purchase, I replaced the stock 255/70-17 tires and rims with 20 inch factory rims and 305/50-20 Cooper Zeon LTZ's. This fall, while the vehicle is still cold, as I drive down teh road under say, 40, I can hear a growling noise. Sounds like the transfer case. I put it in 4wd hi and it goes away. So, I take it to Ford to have it looked at. They want to know where my original tires and rims are as they want to put them back on to try as they can find nothing wrong. My question is this....Do any of you see a reason why such a small change in tire size should cause this???

Bump? It was still on the first page.

And no a simple tire change should not have caused this.

I'm sure they have rims and tires laying around that they can use.

Sounds like a leaky vacume line, believe this was a common problem for older 04-08 trucks. Just worked on a friends truck and thats what it was, a small tiny pin hole.
