Hi guys....new to the site. Just picked up my new F150 Screw today, and love the Sync. Forgot to ask the dealer in all the excitement if there is an aftermarket Sync I could put in my wife's 2008 Explorer. Any help?

 

Welcome to the site and congrats...where are the pics?? Not sure on the Sync...might be some compatability issues since it is an 08.

 

Pics to come soon. Dark Blue Pearl, Chrome package less step tubes, 4x4 Supercrew, 5'5" bed, and had 275/65/18 Hankook ATM's installed at the dealer. Need to order the leveling kit tomorrow....any suggestions on a brand?

 

Not really possible to add Sync to other model vehicles. To upgrade you would need to install a microphone, sync module, RCM compatible, steering wheel controls, PCM s/w modifications and I likely missed a few. The wiring would be a nightmare and in the end no gaurantees it would even work. Are you just looking for the hands free calling or also the audio controls?
