Brand New 2009 F150 is leaking..
Sup guys. Well not to long ago I became the proud owner of a brand new 2009 regular cab F150 STX. Love the truck, it's super quiet and smooth but I noticed a problem today. As I was getting in, I noticed water all over the back floor of the truck inside the cab. We've been getting hit pretty hard over here weather wise so at first I thought one of the windows was open a crack but both were closed. Upon further inspection I noticed the headliner just over the back window and partly up the sides were all soaked. Obviously there's a leak somewhere. I'm taking it in tomorrow but I just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced anything similar. Thanks
Ford still has not fixed the leaking third brake light seal after all of the units they have made over the years?
My '04 leaked when I got it pre-owned and I fixed it by taking the light out and straightening out the seal and reglued it back to the light itself. No more leak.

He stated he has a STX...moon roof is not available with that trim level....its the 3rd brake light!
It almost certainly is the 3rd brake light leaking. Had the same issue with my truck. Dealer fixed it and no problems since. Hard to believe that Ford still keeps having this problem though. You would think after having this issue on the previous model they would have gotten it taken care of!
Thanks for all the replies, took it in today and it was in fact the third brake light seal. The seal should be replaced by tomorrow but the dealer was hesitant to replace the headliner even though it was drenched. They said they would dry it but that unless there were visible stains, they would not replace it. For those of you who have had your leak fixed, did any of them recommend you have your headliner replaced? And if not, have you had any mold, stains, or any problems of that nature?
